We have
made many very successful Labrador Retriever placements since we started
back in 1988. The following is the feedback we received from a family
who gave up their Lab to LRR, Inc. and from the family who adopted the
Lab from Lab Rescue.
A letter
from a family after their Lab, Duke was placed by LRR, Inc.
Dear
Labrador Retriever Rescue,
I am writing to thank you for the updates you have sent to us on Duke.
They have been very comforting to both me and my husband. To hear about
Duke going through typical behavior, and to see what appears to be a
perfect match between Duke and his new family has given us great piece
of mind. Thank you again to you and the people of LRR, Inc. for all
of the caring you have given to us and Duke.
A letter from the family who adopted Duke from LRR, Inc.
We
are overwhelmed to have been given the opportunity to have such a magnificent
animal come and live with us. At first impression is his size and beautiful
black coat--then to experience his gentle and obedient personality is
to be coaxed into his world--a world of playfulness, fantastic body-language
communication and exuberant appetite. Knowing that Duke's separation
from his original family had to be traumatic for everyone concerned--we
decided to smother Duke with lots of love and affection. Duke has brought
us a deep feeling of joy-now we have something to fuss over on a daily
basis. Our thanks to the original family and to the Labrador Retriever
Rescue people which includes the officials of the organization, those
who interviewed prospective adopters and the foster home providers.
LRR, Inc. is a well-organized professional agency that cares as well
as we do, for the welfare of animals.
