Wanted: foster homes
Do you have experience owning, caring for, and training a Lab? Do you have a fenced-in yard? Do you have time to exercise and supervise a dog for a week or two?
We have on-going needs throughout our service area for foster homes for Labs that have been surrendered by their owners and are awaiting adoption.
Foster homes provide a temporary residence where the dogs can be observed in a natural, family setting (not a kennel), pending adoption by previously screened applicants. The typical stay in foster care is 1-2 weeks.
We need Lab-savvy people who can give reliable feedback on a Lab's behavior so we can match the Lab to an appropriate home.
